Abstract :
For either the vacuum vidicon tube or vacuum microelectronic flat panel camera (FPC) tube, the performance from any kind of photoconductive device type is dependent mainly on the advance in the field of photoconductive materials and the structure of the photosensitive target. A CdSe film n-type semiconductive photoconductive material can be prepared and formed into a multilayer junction-type structure with high light electric conversion efficiency and remarkable photoelectric performances. The authors have developed a new multilayer CdSe photoconductive target consisting of 5 layers - SnO/sub 2/-CdSe-CdSeO/sub 3/-As/sub 2/Se/sub 3/-Sb/sub 2/S/sub 3/ with a junction-type structure and remarkable performances. A new heat treating technology consisting of both vacuum heat pre-treatment technology (VHPT) and the non-vacuum heat after-treating technology (NHAT) has also been developed. In this paper, the authors investigate the effect of vacuum heat pre-treatment on the properties of CdSe multilayer targets used for FPCs.
