Abstract :
Wavelength-tunable supercontinuum with longitudinal mode spacing of 154 GHz is generated over 1460-1680 nm range. This becomes possible through the use of a higher-order mode-locked fiber laser, producing 900 fs pulses at 154 GHz rate, and a dispersion flattened fiber.
