Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a new version of the CBFs - referred to herein as universal characteristic basis functions (UCBFs) - that can be used over a 2:1 band in the frequency range of interest. The proposed approach begins by analyzing the problem at the highest frequency of interest by following the usual CBMoM procedure, after subdividing the object into blocks, typically containing 1000 to 14000 unknowns each.
