  • Abstract
In order to improve the sense of reality and real-time performance in the process of cloth simulation, a new cloth simulation technology which was instant to generate realistic cloth wrinkles, based on implicit surface, was put forward. First, according to the coarse mesh cloth simulation, we acquire the trend of cloth movement. Then we determine the generated wrinkles area by stretch tensor threshold, and continuous wrinkles area is generated through combining continuous transmission mechanism between frame and frame. Finally, we perform convolution of the surface and the kernel function, and generate the wrinkles of cloth details by using contour function adjustment. The experimental results show that realistic coarse cloth wrinkles can be generated with the proposed approach in the real-time.
