Research on building Harbin into logistics center from Northeast- Asian perspective

By seizing the opportunity of the country to speed up border opening and expansion of domestic demand to keep an important growth, with the increasingly close cooperation in Northeast Asia, it is necessary to develop modern logistics industry vigorously, and to strengthen the center city´s service function and international competitiveness. Based on the study of markets in Harbin, the freight volume of Harbin was forecasted through the methods such as the average growth rate, elastic coefficient, output value and freight volume estimation, and regression analysis, etc. A strategy was put forward, that is to set up an important logistics centre, based in Harbin, served Heilongjiang Province, highlighted Russian, and opened to Northeast Asia as well.
