Abstract :
This paper based on flexible thinking to devise new operating model for distribution center construction, posed the concept of flexible distribution center, and analyzed the main operational features from multiple aspects, proposed the primary principles for building flexible distribution center that need to meet constraint and DBR theory in complicate environment, where customer demand became diversified and different, and market demand growing uncertainty. These new changes hardly adapt by the single-function distribution center, since rigidified operating process and poor adjustability. Flexible distribution center model is a new concept to solve these problems and meet various demands agilely.
