Abstract :
We have successfully produced a two-inch diagonal mono DFED panel. Nonhydrogenated Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) Field Emitter Arrays FEAs were fabricated using laser evaporation method. The laser evaporation system has an advantage of easy scale-up for display application. The DFEAs exhibit less than 10 V//spl mu/m of threshold field, around 7 /spl mu/A/pixel of emission current density and /spl plusmn/10 % of threshold field uniformity. Around 2/spl times/10/sup -6/ Torr of vacuum degree was maintained during the operation of DFED. Finally, emitting patterns in green color have been obtained from DFED.
