Abstract :
We investigated the transmission properties of complementary metamaterials with split ring resonator (CSRR) arrays in the terahertz region. The size of CSRR is 110 (90, 70) mum times 110 mum and the gap is 15 mum. The spacing of CSRR is 150 mum. The samples were fabricated by a femtosecond laser micromachining system. The resonant transmissions were observed below the Wood´s anomaly resonance and the resonant frequencies only depend on the total length of the split ring resonator. The polarization dependent resonant transmission was also investigated.
