Abstract :
Stability of a class of nonlinear initial value problems is investigated. We develop a novel method for stability analysis and propose the explicit conditions for the exponential stability of the zero equilibrium point. Our result extends the known results concerned with the stability of the initial value problems. As an application example, the stability of a population system of two age-structured interacting species is addressed.
