  • Abstract
    This paper highlights problems in tracking changes in software version in general and also at component level. The requirement needed to handle software changes at component level is briefly described. As this study is still at its initial phase, this paper focuses on providing elaborations on several existing techniques in representing software changes, discussion on the suitable techniques and also several tools from the chosen technique. This paper proposed the use of call graph in representing the software changes at component level. This paper also describes the research framework that will be used together with its expected contribution.
