Abstract :
The pathology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is complex and there has been no uniform classification and diagnostic criteria for the syndrome so far. On the basis of clinical data which records 1768 cases of patients, combining with the known common syndrome and characteristics of COPD exacerbation period, the research establishes of COPD TCM syndrome model is based on BP neural network. Then, the relationship between symptoms and symptoms is determined and the diagnostic criteria of COPD TCM syndrome is established by the sensitive analysis. According to the diagnostic criteria of syndrome established by the model of COPD TCM syndrome, clinical test data is examined, and the correct rate reaches 88.2%. After verified by Chinese experts, the diagnostic criteria of syndrome is consistent with clinical diagnostic syndrome. The method for constructing COPD TCM diagnosis which based on BP neural network, has an significant value in the standard establishment of TCM syndromes diagnosis.
