Abstract :
The subject of this paper is a new optimal control scheme for nonlinear large-scale systems. Minimizing a quadratic cost functional for each subsystem separately results in a linear feedback control using only local states. The interaction terms and the discrepancy between the nonlinear system and the linearized state equation are considered in an additional control. Therefore, the coupling states must be transmitted between the corresponding controllers of the subsystems or must be measurable, then the developed control is decentralised. Compared with centralised control of a system the control strategy proposed in this paper reduces the quantity of transmitted states, the distance of transmitting and provides optimality even if the subsystems are strongly coupled. The implementation for a turbine generator of a power system shows the applicability
