Abstract :
Mixed acids which consists of HF, HNO3 are used as good etchant for pickling process of stainless steel and of HNO3, CH3COOH, H3PO4 are used as etchant for aluminum. The optical detection of concentration for such mixed acids is important to optimize and cut costs in the acid pickling process. The Raman spectroscopy technique has been employed to measure the concentration of mixed acid component within the aqueous phase.
