Abstract :
This is a case study of a failed and dormant medical product and the team that rescued it, guided it through a successful FDA approval, and launched the product earlier this year. This is a behind-the-scenes view of the evolution of that project team, and the tactics used and lessons learned in producing a technological success in the face of imminent loss of financial support and fading beliefs that the technology could ever succeed
