Abstract
For the modern radar signal processing, the non-searching based methods have more advantages than the searching based methods. In this paper, the nonuniform fast Fourier transform (NUFFT) is adopted to improve the integrated cubic phase function (ICPF), which requires only 1-D maximization. Compared with the conventional processing method of the ICPF, the proposed NUFFT based processing method eliminates the searching procedure, and is more suitable for the situation, where the chirp rate (CR) is the only parameter of interest. The analyses and simulations on the synthetic models demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed NUFFT based processing method.
