Abstract
The FNAL LINAC will soon be asked to produce a beam at 7.5 Hz. FNAL LINAC extraction involves sweeping the H- beam over a Lambertson magnet. The higher repetition rates are expected to activate the Lamberston magnet. A pulsed laser has been installed to make a notch in the beam so that beam will not sweep over the magnet
