Abstract :
Online PD measurements on turbo generators are more in common now than they were 10 years ago. During this period much knowledge has been obtained about the behavior and problems encountered when performing online PD measurements. Experience also thought that there are several pitfalls often encountered when talking to generator operators. These pitfalls stem from misconceptions about the possibilities and feasibility of on line PD measurements on turbo generators.
