Abstract :
For the signal subspace projection and the joint pixel method, the information of the pixels adjacent to the reference pixel is sufficiently used for suppressing the clutter. Therefore, analyzing the relationship and comparing the performance of both the methods have a great value for the design of the multi-channel SAR-GMTI system. In this paper, the mathematical modeling of both the methods above is given out and the relationship of them is derived out. Meanwhile, a partially constrained joint pixel method is proposed. The experimental results of the measured data show that: the joint pixel method has better performance on clutter suppression than that of the signal subspace projection; however, the improvement factor of the latter is superior to that of the former.
