Abstract
The miniaturization for antenna design based on fractal geometry is of great interest in today´s wireless communication systems. To this end, the NEC4WIN95VM simulation tool, that is based on moment method has been used to simulate two proposed new designs based on the quadratic Koch model. The obtained simulation results are compared to classical Bi-Quad loop antenna [reference]. From these results, it is found antenna gain based on the fractal model is improved, while height and the occupied area of the antenna is reduced. Other antenna parameters has also been obtained using the model, such as radiation pattern, VSWR, and current distribution over the antenna body.
