Abstract
The H∞ control problem of dual-rate control systems with network induced delay and bounded dropouts is considered. System states are sampled by two groups of sensors and respectively transmitted to controller node by a imperfect network channel. Taking into consideration the influence of the different sampling periods, a synchronous observer-based controller is introduced to evaluate the plant states and to stabilize dualrate systems, then the dual-rate system is modeled as a continuous-time system with two time-varying delays. By Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method, a stability criterion and controller design method for the dualrate system are presented in terms of matrix inequalities. At last, numeric examples are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
