  • Abstract
This paper presents a practical hands-on approach to conducting the audit beginning with the first handshakes through parting words. Offshore Solutions has over 12 years of experience in performing these on-site audits and shares its experience starting with preparation for the audit. Topics covered include the pre-audit on-site meeting, how to select participants, how to determine the best order for moving from process to process, how to analyze the robustness of each process, and how to avoid being fooled by undocumented statements.
