Abstract :
In this paper, a power-oriented sink node placement strategy with one-hop topology for wireless body area networks (WBANs) is proposed. With lower power consumption as constraint condition, the optimal position of the sink node is selected. As a result, the network topologies are designed. The measurement results confirmed the proposed strategy by two specific application scenarios.
