Abstract
In this paper, we consider the sampled-data control problem for continuous time switched linear systems. It is assumed that only sampled information of system state and switching signal is available to the controller at each sampling instant. By merging the switching signal with its sampled measurements, a switched system with state delay is proposed for the closed-loop system based on input delay approach. Then, by using time-dependent multiple Lyapunov functional method, sufficient exponential stability conditions are obtained, and state feedback controller gains can also be designed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, the effectiveness and improvement of the proposed approach is illustrated by a numerical example.
