Abstract
This paper considers the stabilization problem of linear systems with sensor quantization and external disturbances. In a digital communication channel, the output measurements are quantized with a logarithmic version before transmitting. In this paper, a low-past-filter-based control technique is developed to solve these difficulties. A sliding-mode observer-based control scheme is then proposed to stabilize the resulting closed-loop systems. Finally, a numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
