Abstract
In this paper, a switchable monopole antenna that includes both only UWB antenna and UWB antenna with notch-band frequency has been presented. The proposed UWB antenna has the simple structure], consisting of the square patch with U-shaped slot producing band-notched frequencies, two-step CPW- fed to increase the impedance bandwidth and a biased PIN diodes on U-slot can switch existence of notch-band by setting the diode on or off.
