  • Abstract
    Nowadays, technology enables us to pass from the mechanical energy to the electric power in a simpler way and with a great flexibility. This article will present an approach for the design engineering of a wind power system, while analyzing the wind potential starting from the wind velocity measurements, which were gathered in the forms of various tables available from the national direction of meteorology. This analysis will be carried out by using the Weibull model with two parameters. Then the various parameters constituting the wind power system will be determinate.
