Abstract
Computer support for large meetings has more profound effects on productivity than computer support for small meetings. This makes the design of support a particularly worthwhile task. The key design issue of “awareness for large groups” is discussed. “Query awareness” provides large groups and especially their facilitators with an overview over the group´s activities. The facilitator can query the shared material on the basis of context information (time, persons, subgroup, etc.) and see the results marked in his workspace. The concept of query awareness is demonstrated with the GO (Group Objects) prototype and an object oriented model
