Abstract :
A new approach to modeling editing processes in collaborative writing applications supported by a database system is proposed. The approach assumes extensive use of versions of document components of different sizes. The paper proposes an enriched database model, influenced by the models addressing CAD applications, which reflects the specificity of collaborative writing processes
