Abstract :
This paper focuses on the problem of guaranteed cost control for uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy descriptor system. The parametric uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded. A linear quadratic cost function is considered as a performance index. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed-cost controllers are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A convex optimization problem with LMI constraints is formulated to design the optimal guaranteed cost controller, which minimize the guaranteed cost of the closed-loop uncertain system.
