Abstract :
We firstly drew the recurrence plot and order recurrence plot of conductance fluctuation signals of gas-liquid two-phase flow, and then the characteristics of gas-liquid two-phase flow were analyzed. From the results we can see that both of the methods can be used to analyze the characteristics of different flow patterns efficiently. Compared to the recurrence plot, the order recurrence plot clearly shows the entire texture of blocks, and it is more intuitive and effective than the linear texture presented by the recurrence plot. From the visual effect of view, the order recurrence plot has more advantage in distinguishing different flow patterns while the texture effect of recurrence plot is unobvious. Taking the simplicity and effectiveness into consideration, the order recurrence plot will be widely applied to characterize two-phase non-linear systems or other fields.
