Abstract :
The distinction between marine steam power plant and steam power plant used on land lies in whether there exist the astern turbine. In order to increase the mobility of vessel, it is essential to fully utilize the back-steam control technology. This study focus on the steam power plant of a certain large vessel, builds up mathematical model of dynamic simulation, proposes a boiler-turbine coordinated control strategy with back-steam technology, and executes dynamic simulation of acceleration, deceleration and direction reversing process. Results of the simulation indicate that compared with traditional coordinated control system, the boiler-turbine coordinated control system with back-steam technology provides more stability of main steam pressure and better mobility of vessel.
