Abstract
A new mm-wave broadband slot antenna fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW) ended by double excitations, has been designed and presented. The coupling from the coplanar line to the slot radiating element is accomplished via a combination of inductively and capacitively excitations located within the ground plane to which the coplanar line is connected. Simulated results show good performances in terms of bandwidth. Through the adjustment of different parameters of the exciting slots, good impedance matching for each resonant frequency is achieved.
