Abstract :
In this research, the proposed circular polarization controllable microstrip antenna extends effectively the basic behavior of the orthogonal linear polarization controllable microstrip antenna. The capability of circular polarization switching is realized with the same structure. A LHCP/RHCP switching function by a control of bias voltage is explained. The characteristics of the antenna are simulated accurately by the FDTD method and the calculated results are investigated.
