Abstract :
Attempt is made to understand the principles of interactions between Terahertz radiation with matter. It involves with characterizations of the incident Terahertz radiation, identification of types of interactions, their interaction probabilities and the characteristics of matter. A brief conceptual model on the interaction is shown in this paper. However this conceptual model is preliminary work that needs to be continuously improved from time to time. Validation of the model is carried out by means of experimental data that is very limited and not easily available. The conceptual model summarizes the understanding on the principles of interactions as well as its ability to be able to predict applications of Terahertz radiation in many applications. In this paper results and suggestions on the conceptual modeling on Terahertz interaction are presented.
