  • Abstract
This paper sets out to detail the outcome of the One 2 One project team air conditioning re-design process required to address the new ISP and 3G cooling loads. One 2 One have had a great deal of success utilising the popular free cooling style of unit, however, the new cooling loads were making it impossible to continue with the traditional units in their existing form. This paper outlines the advantages of the free cooling style of unit and demonstrates how the product re-design process led to a new unit being developed to achieve the challenging new requirements. It will be demonstrated that this approach was successful as a result of teamwork and collaboration with a forward thinking manufacturer. The following are covered: the benefits of the free cooling solution; system selection considerations; system resilience; fast track installations; experience of owning and operating; energy efficiency; 3G/ISP technical requirements; re-design process; 3G/ISP product development; and the 3G/ISP free cooling solution.
