Abstract :
Single crystal lanthanum strontium aluminate, LaSrAlO4 (001), was investigated by means of time-domain terahertz transmission spectroscopy. We extracted the optical constants at frequencies from 3 to 100 cm-1 and at temperatures from 4 to 300 K by inverting the measured complex transmission coefficient without resorting to a Kramers-Kronig analysis. The refractive index was almost independent of temperature in the terahertz range.
