Abstract
Recent trends in both the distributed power generation and telecom markets have created unprecedented demand for highly reliable, standalone power solutions. With the explosive growth of internet and wireless applications combined with the evolution to the new public network, the emergence of new distributed power generation technologies seem well positioned to meet the ever increasing demand of the telecom markets. In particular, there appears to be a good match between the rapidly changing demands of the new telecom world and emerging solid oxide fuel cell products.
