Abstract :
Designed and implemented an application of SSL encryption on Linux Web Server. First, the security situation and challenges faced in China was discussed and the probably resolving method is proposed. Then, the SSL protocol characters with the consideration of Web Server using was analyzed. Last, design and implemented the whole SSL applications in Linux Web Server with detailed considerations to fit for Web using situations. This would be benefit for authentication and confidentiality research in China during the Web designing process.
