Abstract
The paper focuses on improving node localization accuracy for wireless sensor networks. This article describes distance-based node localization algorithm and analyzes limitations of basic algorithm. Reference anchor node and their choice principle are put forward. Improving methods to advance localization accuracy are proposed. The paper tries to locate the node position with weighted least square estimation and robust least square estimation to make wireless node localization more accurate. Appropriate criterion function is selected to withstand coarse errors. The results of the simulation prove the effectiveness of these methods.
