  • Abstract
    A way of the fuzzy logic control for the excitation system of a synchronous generator is presented in this paper based on every instantaneous speed and acceleration error of the synchronous generator as well as the standard fuzzy membership function on the phase plane. The gain of the controller can be automatically adjusted. Computer simulation in the simple power system shows that the controller has strong robustness for a variety of disturbances in the power system
