Abstract :
In this paper, a numerical method is presented to evaluate the bit error rate (BER) of different Orthogonal Space-Time Block Codes (OSTBCs) over Rayleigh fading channel for different transmission bit rate. The comparisons of Orthogonal Space-Time Block Codes are made with the equivalent uncoded Single-Input Single-Output (SISO) channel and uncoded space diversity. The result shows that a full rate code is more desirable than a lower rate code and OSTBC performs significantly over uncoded SISO channel and uncoded space diversity.
