Abstract :
In this work, we present the design and development of a heterogeneous network testbed and propose seamless monitoring mechanism of multimedia services in an internetworking environment. Seamless communication and monitoring across access technologies is the most important aspect of this paper, wherein we evaluated a converged IP-based service delivery environment on an IEEE 802.21 based middleware using our developed testbed as part of Stream-Over-IP (SoIP) project and presents an experimental setup in this environment to analyze Quality of Service parameters during vertical hand-off process.
