Abstract
This paper illustrates a practical application of a method for interruption costs calculation. The case study refers to a real manufacturing plant, investigated by the authors during a recent survey activity focused on the effects of power quality (PQ) issues and related costs in small industrial plants. The paper also reports the survey main results concerning the interruption costs and the overall annual costs causes by PQ issues and outages. These results are discussed and compared with the results provided by other recent surveys.
