Abstract :
The article presents the multiple engineering challenges that lay ahead for Brazil, organiser of the next two global mega sporting events: the 2014 Football World Cup and the 2016 Games, Fifa. Stadiums and other key engineering projects needed for a smooth Brazilian World Cup will be ready just in time.
