Abstract
Current efforts in both the inclusion of intelligence in computer-supported learning and teaching systems and the employment of Internet and World Wide Web, has led to the development of advanced Web-based educational systems. In order to develop an adaptive Web-based educational system that can offer some amount of adaptivity and intelligence, we enhance the operating capabilities of an authoring shell with adaptive and "Web-based" features.
