Abstract
The purpose of the mobile location analysis is to study the mobile location accuracy, reliability, and robustness of the RF fingerprinting solution by means of the indoor WLAN signal strength measurements. First, we have compared two measurement sets collected on different days in the same building. The results of the location error are very similar which implies that these two measurements are almost time-invariance in the sense of received average power. Second, we only need make a few random measurement points in the building for the fingerprinting solution. Lastly, we examined the location error resulting from our RF fingerprinting analysis by varying the number of access points in the building.
