Abstract
We have developed electron spin resonance (ESR) measurement system with using terahertz time domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS). We used a pair of crossed polarizers to detect slight polarization change of the terahertz pulse caused by ESR absorption. The development of the ESR system with using the THz-TDS could pave the way of the realization of ultrafast time-resolved ESR measurements in which optical pump-THz probe spectroscopy is applied.
