Research on Enterprise Growth Based on Capability Theory

Capability Theory discusses the root of enterprise competitive advantage from the perspective of enterprise´s endogenous resource and capability. However, it doesn´t pay more attention to entrepreneur´s contribution to enterprise´s growth and the relationship between entrepreneur and organizational capability. This paper includes entrepreneur´s capability into Capability Theory Model. It points out that entrepreneurs will carry out double function during the firm´s growth, on one side, promoting the firm´s growth indirectly through nurturing the organizational competence, on the other side, contributing to competitive advantage directly.
