Abstract :
The design, microfabrication, and characterization of a multifunctional reconfigurable antenna (MRA), so called MRA annular slot, capable of changing its operating frequency are presented. Frequency reconfigurability is achieved through microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) actuators strategically located within the antenna architecture.
