Abstract :
An adjustable dispersion slope compensator based on nonlinearly chirped fiber Bragg gratings is realised, which can be tuned up to -18.9 ps/nm2 with bandwidth >25 nm. Using this device. 2.65 ps pulses are transmitted over 120-km-long dispersion shifted fiber.
